Tokmak couple convicted of selling alcohol without license
In court, the couple did not admit guilt

Pologov interdistrict court sentenced the couple from Tokmak for illegal sale of alcohol. This was reported by the press service of the Zaporozhye Regional Court.
A woman as an individual entrepreneur owned a store. She did not have a license to sell alcohol. But witnesses said the alcohol was sold regularly without a check.
In October 2024, police seized more than 2,600 bottles of vodka, whiskey and cognac worth more than 800 thousand rubles from the store. It turned out that the husband of the hostess bought a batch of alcohol the day before in a alcohol market in Melitopol.
In court, the spouses did not admit guilt. They said they were buying alcohol for themselves. But customer testimony and expertise confirmed otherwise. The court appointed each year of deprivation of liberty probation with a probationary period of one year.
