Sverdlovsk man charged with knife attack on friend of former cohabitant

A resident of Kamensk-Uralsky is accused of stabbing a friend of a former partner.

On October 18, the police in Kamensk-Uralsky received a message from a medical institution about the hospitalization of a local resident born in 1986 with a penetrating wound to the chest. Police found that a previously convicted local resident born in 1976 was involved in the wounding. The incident occurred in one of the residential buildings on Kamenskaya Street.

According to preliminary data, the defendant drank alcohol in the company of friends. They wanted to join a former cohabitant with a new friend. Out of a sense of jealousy, the attacker stabbed the opponent in the chest.

A case was initiated under paragraph 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Intentional infliction of serious harm to health with the use of an object used as a weapon”). Suspect arrested. The investigation is ongoing, the press service of the GU MIA of the Russian Federation in the Sverdlovsk region reports.

As MK-Ural reported, a resident of Pervouralsk is accused of murdering a casual acquaintance. According to the investigation, a 29-year-old previously convicted local resident on July 18 invited a random acquaintance – a 65-year-old man – to drink alcohol in his apartment, and then killed him with a knife in the neck during an argument.
