During the operational-search activities, the criminal investigation officers of the Moscow police department of Minsk detained a 22-year-old man who turned out to be a courier of telephone fraudsters. This was reported in the Mingory Executive Committee, writes sb.by.

The young man became an accomplice of fraudsters, without suspecting it. He first received a call from an alleged communications operator, who convinced him to dictate the code from the SMS to extend the contract. Then came a call from false law enforcement officers, who reported a criminal case because of suspicious transfers abroad from his account. The guy was redirected to a “prosecutor” who demanded to “declar” all available money and cooperate with the investigation.
When it turned out that there was no money at home, and the loan could not be obtained, the Minsk citizen was “hired” as a “freelance employee”. His duties included the execution of courier orders.
According to the instructions of the curator, the Minsk man found a package in which there were more than 20 thousand, wrapped it with tape and left it in the agreed place. At the same time, he was told to keep about 400 for himself and hand them over on his next assignment.
The next day, according to the code word “parabola”, the young man took the envelope with money from the minor and transferred more than 5,000 to the specified details, of which 1,000 was his salary from his official job.
A criminal case has been opened for fraud.
