Toyota Hiace hits driver after he exits cabin

In Buryatia, a 36-year-old man died after hitting his own car. According to preliminary data, the car began to move independently when the driver left the cabin, leaving the engine on. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic.

The incident occurred on October 19 at about 21:00 on the territory of the garage cooperative. The man was driving a Toyota Hiace. After leaving the car, he did not turn off the engine and did not use the parking brake.

The car came into motion and ran over the driver. The injuries were fatal: the man died on the spot.
