To Tver law enforcement officers appealed to a local resident, who was deceived by fraudsters, told the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Tver region.

The young man found on the ad site information about the sale of a puppy and was interested in the offer. He contacted the seller and discussed the details of the transaction, agreeing to eventually transfer part of the amount to the unknown card as an advance payment. After the “seller” received the money, he deleted the ad and stopped communicating.

A criminal case was opened under the article “Fraud”. Law enforcement officers conduct operational-search activities.
