Instead of making money on investments, she gave money to scammers

Tvertyanka suffered from the actions of virtual intruders, told the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Tver region.

As explained in the Department, the victim installed on the phone app and under the guidance of a remote assistant transferred money to mobile phones unknown. She was sure that in this way she invested money in securities and precious metals, planning to sell them at a higher price.

According to the instructions of the “consultant” for correspondence, the Tverityan first sent part of her savings, then issued a loan and also transferred borrowed funds. After the victim gave all the money, the fraudsters blocked the correspondence.

The woman went to the police. A criminal case was initiated under part 4 of article 159 of the criminal code of the Russian Federation.
