A businessman in Omsk stole 8 million rubles

Employees of the FSB and MIA in the Omsk region detained participants of an organized criminal group. They are suspected of assaulting a local businessman. This was reported by the official representative of the department Irina Rusnak.

According to the investigation, in 2023, two residents of Omsk and Novosibirsk created a criminal group. They were looking for people who had large amounts of cash. After learning that one entrepreneur is going to exchange 8 million rubles for foreign currency, the attackers developed a plan.

For the attack, they found two perpetrators and instructed them. The mercenaries attacked the businessman, seized a briefcase with money and tried to escape. The victim tried to stop the attackers by jumping into their car, but was kicked and fell on the move.

The press service of the courts of the Omsk region said that the man tried to prevent the theft, but could not. Now the security forces establish all the circumstances of what happened.
