Killed his wife in Metal St. Petersburg beat her whole body with a mop 100 times

The Kolpinsky district court sent to the pre-trial detention center a man who is accused of murdering his wife on the grounds of jealousy. In total, the man hit her at least 130 times, of which 100 were made with a cutting from a mop. From the injuries, the woman died on the spot. This is reported by the joint press service of the courts of St. Petersburg.

According to investigators, on October 8, the man, being drunk, jealous of his wife and beat her to death. All this happened in the communal apartment of the couple on Sadovaya Street in the village of Metallostroy. First, the St. Petersburg man struck his wife thirty times on the head, and then grabbed a mop and struck his head, neck, chest, stomach, shoulders, back, legs a hundred times with a cutting. The woman died on the spot.

On October 22, his wife was arrested and charged. He admitted his guilt. Now the man will spend two months in jail, until December 21.

To help his wife, the husband did not call an ambulance and simply wrapped his body in plastic. Later, the investigation department in the Kolpinsky district detained the man. A criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under the murder article.
