In the Absheron district, a man spent the pension of a deceased friend

In the Absheron district, a 63-year-old local resident will appear in court on suspicion of stealing pension payments from a deceased acquaintance.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Krasnodar Territory, the accused lived with a friend and at his request withdrew his pension from his bank card every month. After the death of the man, he continued to receive money for another five months, the department said.

According to the investigation, the total damage exceeded 53 thousand rubles - these funds the defendant spent on personal needs.

The criminal case with the approved indictment has already been sent to court. The man is charged with part 3 of article 158 of the criminal code of the Russian Federation.
