In the Astrakhan region eliminated 27 unauthorized landfills
This was reported in the Rosselkhoznadzor Department for Rostov, Volgograd and Astrakhan regions and the Republic of Kalmykia.
In the Astrakhan region for nine and a half months of 2026 eliminated 27 unauthorized landfills on agricultural land. The total area of cleared areas exceeded 46 hectares. The owners eliminated the places of illegal placement of construction and household waste on farmland within the borders of Akhtuba, Liman, Kamyzyak and Kharabalin districts.
An illustrative case occurred in the Kharabalin district. In November 2025, during the survey of agricultural land, the storage of household waste and construction waste was revealed there - the total area of the hearths was 17 hectares. The right holder of the plot (an individual) was issued an order to take measures to eliminate landfills and put farmland into circulation.
During the re-examination on September 3, 2026, officials of the department established that the unauthorized landfill was eliminated. Now the site can be used for its intended purpose - for agricultural activities.
