According to the interregional department, the fact of concealment of the cargo was revealed during the analysis of the electronic system of FGIS "Argus-Fito". The legal entity brought to the territory of the Astrakhan region through the Karaozek control post a batch of fresh apricots with a total weight of 21.5 tons.
However, the organization completely ignored the legal requirements and did not notify the supervisory authority of the arrival of the goods, nor did it show the fruit for mandatory phytosanitary inspection at its final destination. In addition, the company did not create conditions for state inspection.
Such actions contradict the regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union, approved by the Decision of the Customs Union Commission No. 318, which are designed to prevent the spread of dangerous pests.
As a result, the violator was given an official warning. The company was asked to immediately take measures to comply with the requirements of Federal Law No. 206-FZ “On Plant Quarantine”.
