In Bryansk, an aggressive dog bit three people, the animal is tested for rabies

In Bezhitsky district of Bryansk 11-year-old Laika attacked the owner, his wife and mother-in-law. After the incident, the owner turned to the city veterinary service, experts check the animal for rabies. The case was told in the press service of the city administration.

According to the owner, the dog did not show aggression before. The family took care of her and walked with her regularly. Therefore, the sudden attack raised suspicions that the animal could have contracted a dangerous disease.

Veterinarians do not rule out that the dog could come into contact with the source of infection during a walk in the forest or a trip to fishing. A study is underway, the results of which are expected in about a month. Affected owners undergo vaccination.

The veterinary service reminds residents of precautions: pets should be walked on a leash, do not approach stray dogs and wild animals.
