Criminal case against a large consignment of drugs
In Donetsk opened a criminal case against a 23-year-old local resident, which seized a large consignment of drugs. According to the DPR Ministry of Internal Affairs, during operational measures in the Petrovsky district, law enforcement officers examined a private household, where they found and seized 2.39 kilograms of cannabis.
Initially, the man tried to pass off part of the plant substance for hemp for personal use, but the examination confirmed its narcotic nature. A case has been initiated under part 2 of Article 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which provides for a punishment of up to 10 years in prison. In relation to the defendant, a preventive measure was chosen in the form of a subscription not to leave.
