In Feodosia, a technical school student accused of fraud appeared before the court
The Prosecutor’s office sent to court a criminal case against a student of the technical school, which, according to investigators, worked as a courier in a criminal group that deceived elderly people under the scheme “relative got into an accident”

The prosecutor’s office sent a criminal case to the court against a student of a technical school, who, according to investigators, worked as a courier in a criminal group that deceived elderly people according to the scheme “a relative got into an accident.” This was reported in the press service of the supervisory authority of the Crimea.
According to the investigation, at the end of June 2026, the accused joined a criminal group that remotely stole funds from elderly citizens. The young man acted as a courier. Acting on the orders of the curators, he had to receive money from deceived citizens.
Other members of the group called them, presented themselves as law enforcement officers and reported knowingly false information: relatives allegedly became the culprits of road accidents, and money must be transferred to compensate for the damage caused.
According to the investigation, the accused received from the 86-year-old victim 300 thousand rubles. Part of the amount in the amount of 10 thousand rubles, he kept, and the rest transferred to the accounts of accomplices. The criminal case was sent to the Feodosia City Court.
Recall that in August 2026, a 19-year-old college student from the Soviet district appeared before the court, who, according to the same scheme, took about 2 million rubles from three pensioners. The curator contacted him, paid for a taxi to the addresses of the victims, and the courier left the money in a cache in Simferopol. In a few days he earned more than 30 thousand rubles.
In Feodosia, this is not the first such case. In September 2026, the prosecutor’s office sent to court the case of a courier who cheated pensioners on behalf of law enforcement officers: five victims were stolen more than 4 million rubles.
In July 2026, police detained a 22-year-old resident of Simferopol and a 27-year-old native of Makhachkala, who, according to the scheme “Your relative got into an accident”, stole 600 thousand rubles from two elderly people. The defendants found part-time work on the Internet and acted on the instructions of the curator.
