Visiting an Internet friend in Krasnodar, a resident of Yekaterinburg lost money and headphones

In Krasnodar, four young people were suspected of robbing a 19-year-old resident of Yekaterinburg. One of them the victim met on the Internet.

The young man was invited to an apartment on Zapolyarnaya Street, where four strangers were waiting for him. As told in the press service of the police of Krasnodar, in the apartment the guy was not allowed to leave and, threatening physical force, took the phone. With its help, the suspects transferred 60 thousand rubles from the victim’s bank account, the investigation believes. It is also noted that the defendants stole headphones and issued a microloan in the name of the guest. The total damage was estimated at 80 thousand rubles.

Criminal investigation officers detained all four alleged participants of the crime. They were young people aged 20 to 22 years from Krasnodar, Tuapse, Belorechensky and Absheronsky districts. According to police, the detainees admitted to spending the stolen money on purchases, including alcohol and food.

A criminal case of robbery was opened against the suspects. They face up to 7 years in prison.
