In the Ivanovo district eliminated the fire of peat near Afanasov

On Monday, October 19, Emergencies Ministry employees extinguished a peat fire near the village of Afanasovo in the Ivanovo district. The fire area of 0.0045 hectares was reported to rescuers at 9:30.

By 10:25, the fire was localized, and after a little more than an hour, at 11:40, completely eliminated. Nine Emergencies Ministry employees and four units of equipment were involved in extinguishing. The regional department clarified that there were no threats to the residents of Afanasov.

Rescuers remind: if you find a fire or signs of burning, you must immediately report it by phone 01 or 101. Calls are accepted around the clock and free of charge.
