In the Ivanovo district detained the courier of telephone fraudsters from the suburbs

Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Ivanovo region detained a woman courier who participated in remote theft schemes. A 35-year-old resident of the Moscow region was detained while receiving a package from a victim of deception.

According to the investigation, the woman found a “job” in one of the messengers. Its task was to arrive at the specified addresses by taxi, call a password and take money or valuables from deceived citizens, and then take them to the organizers. For each such departure, the courier received from 3 to 4 thousand rubles.

The police noted that the detainee was aware of the suspicion of the terms of employment. She admitted that strict secrecy and the need to name passwords seemed strange to her, but she chose not to ask unnecessary questions for the sake of easy earnings.

A criminal case has been opened against a resident of Moscow. She now faces a real prison term for complicity in fraud.
