In the Kaliningrad region for a week caught 41 drunk drivers

During the week from 12 to 18 October in the Kaliningrad region, 41 drivers were punished for drunk driving. Two other drivers were suspected of drunken driving again. For such a violation, a criminal case and confiscation of the car in favor of the state are threatened.

Since the beginning of this year, 56 accidents involving drivers with signs of intoxication have occurred in the region. In these accidents, 70 people were injured, 13 people died.

The regional Ministry of Internal Affairs reminded: if the driver again sits behind the wheel while drunk, he faces criminal liability. In addition, the court can confiscate his car and hand over to the state.
