Two residents of the Kaluga region are accused of kidnapping, extortion and robbery.

According to investigators, men 32 and 62 years old met with a friend in a cafe and demanded from him 2 million 150 thousand rubles.

Threatening with violence and using force, they forced the victim to write a bill, then took him to the forest and continued to beat. In addition, the man took the keys and took possession of his car.

The suspects were detained during a joint operation of the Investigative Committee, the FSB and the department for combating organized crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to senior assistant to the head of the regional department of the IC Mikhail Sikulin, the defendants did not admit guilt. During the arrest, a gas pistol, communications equipment and a stolen car were seized. The criminal case has been sent to court.
