In the Katang district, a criminal case was opened on the materials of checking the fact of the death of a worker under the wheels of a car he was driving. This is reported by the press service of the SU TFR in the Irkutsk region.
The incident occurred on September 30, 2026 on the territory of the industrial enterprise. An employee of the contractor was driving a truck. On the road there was a breakdown, the man stopped the car and began to independently eliminate the breakdown. The car came into motion and ran over the driver lying under it. A 34-year-old man died on the spot.
An investigation is under way.
