In Khimki, six schoolchildren were injured after eating sweets with a sweetener

The incident occurred in one of the schools of Khimki city district. As it became known, one of the students brought sweets with the content of a sweetener to the class and treated them to his classmates. Soon after, several children became ill.

Ambulance personnel arrived at the scene promptly. The doctors examined all the injured children. According to the results of the survey, four schoolchildren were diagnosed with acute gastritis. Another child suspected a similar condition, but he refused the proposed hospitalization.

The sixth victim received medical care in a hospital. At present, all the circumstances of the incident are being investigated, as well as the reasons why the use of sweets led to such serious consequences for the health of children.
