In Koreaz due to the flood of the river Uzen-Ceshme evacuated two families

In the village of Koreiz near Yalta after heavy rains came out of the banks of the river Uzen-Ceshme, flooding residential buildings. This was reported in his Telegram channel by the Deputy head of the administration of Yalta, temporarily acting as head of the city administration Svetlana Shevchenko.

More than 130 people and 28 pieces of equipment work at the site, two families were evacuated. According to her, the main task now is to protect houses and return the water to normal passage. Special equipment clears storm drains, rescuers put sand bags around flooded buildings.

The main work goes on the streets of Rodnikova and Tokmakov. On the Tokmakov destroyed retaining wall, so there are temporary dams.

“Two families were evacuated – one wanted to stay with relatives, the second at a temporary accommodation point in Yalta,” Shevchenko wrote.

She noted that after priority work will have to deal with the causes. In the river bed there are residential buildings. When the weather normalizes, a survey will be conducted. If it is confirmed that the buildings interfere with the passage of water, the issue of resettling residents and restoring the channel will be decided.
