In Kostroma, five teenagers registered for hooking before the start of the autumn holidays

On the eve of school holidays, preventive conversations with students and their parents were held in educational institutions of Kostroma. The main purpose of the meetings is to prevent extreme behavior of minors.

Specialists of the Commission on juvenile Affairs and police officers reminded about the dangers of hooking – riding on the external parts of transport. From September to October, several such cases were recorded in Kostroma on public transport and railways.

Thanks to the surgical intervention, tragedies were avoided, but 5 teenagers and their parents were brought to administrative responsibility and put on preventive registration.

Teenagers engaged in hooking face not only administrative, but also criminal punishment from the age of 14.

For actions that threaten the safe operation of transport, provided:

fine from 150 to 300 thousand rubles;

restriction of liberty to 2 years;

imprisonment for up to 2 years.

To ensure security during the holidays in Kostroma, patrolling stops on the streets of Trade Union, Tkachi, Fedoseyev, Kozuev, Workers Avenue and the shopping center "Gallery" are resumed. PDN inspectors and KDN specialists will take part in the raids.
