In Krasnodar, a positive trend in the fire situation is recorded: since the beginning of 2026, 970 fires have been registered in the city - this is 19 cases less than in the same period of 2025.
At the same time, the number of deaths remained at the same level and amounted to 18 people, and the number of victims decreased: 16 people were injured against 19 a year earlier.
Against the background of these data, preventive measures are actively continuing in the city. Thus, three Krasnodar schools – No. 50, No. 106 and No. 108 – held open lessons on the basics of life safety. More than 500 schoolchildren and 20 teachers participated in interactive classes. The lessons were organized jointly by specialists of the City Rescue Service and Civil Defense Courses.
During the meetings, rescuers not only reminded the children of the emergency numbers and told how to behave in case of fire and the threat of a UAV attack, but also clearly showed the work of rescue equipment. Schoolchildren were shown fire extinguishers and explained the rules for their use, and basic first aid techniques were worked out on the dummy.
Given the onset of the autumn-winter season, residents and guests of Krasnodar are again reminded of the importance of observing fire safety rules. Experts recommend not to burn dry grass and debris, monitor the serviceability of electrical wiring and prevent overloading of the power grid, the press service of the Krasnodar administration reports.
