In Kurchatov at the checkpoint detained the Bryansk driver with a fake license

In Kurchatov, Kursk region, police detained a young man who was driving using a fake driver’s license.

The offender was identified at the checkpoint, which is organized in the conditions of the legal regime of the counter-terrorist operation (CTO).

According to the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the car was stopped by law enforcement officers for routine inspection. During the study of the presented document and the reconciliation of data with official databases, the police had suspicions of its authenticity.

At the wheel was an 18-year-old resident of the Bryansk region. According to preliminary information, the young man explained that he purchased the certificate through his friend, the department said.

Now an inspection has been initiated on this fact. An examination of the document is scheduled, a procedural decision will be made on the results of all events.
