In Kursk, a drunk driver received forced labor and lost a foreign car

In the Central district of Kursk, a sentence was handed down to a local resident who again sat behind the wheel while drunk, despite having a criminal record for a similar crime. The prosecution under Part 2 of Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation was supported by prosecutors.

The court, agreeing with the arguments of the supervisory authority, made the following decision – the lover of drunk driving is obliged to work 2 years and 6 months on forced labor. At the same time, 15% of his earnings will be deducted monthly in favor of the state. In addition, the chicken must pay a fine of 300 thousand rubles.

Also, the man is deprived of a driver's license for a long period of time - 5 years and 6 months. An additional measure was the confiscation of a Volkswagen Golf car belonging to the convicted person, which is turned into state income, the press service of the regional prosecutor's office said.
