In the Kursk region convicted father for 2 million rubles of alimony debt

Solntsevsky district court of the Kursk region sentenced a local resident. The negligent father owed two minor children 2 million rubles.

A 45-year-old man was denied parental rights. Despite this, according to the court decision of September 2018, he was obliged to transfer a third of his income to the maintenance of children, the press service of the courts of the Kursk region said.

However, the man not only did not fulfill these requirements, but also previously was brought to administrative responsibility under Article 5.35.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation for non-payment of funds. He served 10 days of arrest.

In the courtroom, the accused fully admitted his guilt. As a punishment, he was sentenced to 6 months of forced labor with 10% in favor of the state.
