In the Kursk region, a drunk driver tried to escape from the chase in the fields

During patrolling the streets of Zheleznogorsk, Kursk region, traffic police inspectors drew attention to a passenger car, the trajectory of which caused suspicion. The manner of driving the vehicle was unstable, which led to the requirement to stop.

However, the driver ignored the lawful order of the police and tried to escape. To get away from the pursuit, he abruptly drove off the road into the field. Despite the attempt to escape, the traffic police managed to block the car and detain the offender.

The driver was a local resident born in 1975. During a visual examination, the man showed clear signs of alcohol intoxication. The medical examination confirmed the conjectures of the guards - the device showed the presence of 1.328 mg / l of ethanol vapors in the exhaled air, which significantly exceeds the permissible norm, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Kursk region said.

In an interview with police, the detainee explained that he was heading home from the store. He admitted that before the trip he drank beer, but still decided to drive.

A number of administrative protocols have been drawn up against the violator.
