In the Kursk region detained the driver under drugs and with a cache of the house

In the Kursk region, law enforcement officers detained a man driving a car in a state of drug intoxication. This happened in the Oboyansky district at a stationary checkpoint, which was organized under the regime of the counter-terrorist operation.

During the standard document check procedure, the police suspected something was wrong. The driver’s behavior was clearly suspicious. External signs indicated that the driver was under the influence of prohibited substances, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Kursk region said.

To confirm the man was sent to a medical institution. The results of the medical examination were positive - the fact of drug use was officially confirmed.

Later, the 39-year-old chicken decided to confess. He said he had plant-based drugs at home.

This information was later confirmed during the search of the detainee’s home. In addition to drug-containing plants, law enforcement officers found and seized homemade smoking devices.

The issue of starting criminal proceedings is being resolved.
