In the Leningrad region during the day, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations rescued five people from an accident

Over the past 24 hours, units of the fire and rescue garrison of the Leningrad region took part in 13 operational calls. This was reported in the press service of the EMERCOM of the Leningrad region.

Eight fires were extinguished during the reporting period. The extinguishing involved 62 employees and 16 units of specialized equipment. At the scene of the accidents, rescuers carried out measures to prevent damage and support the victims.

Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations eliminated the consequences of five road accidents. Eighteen people and five pieces of equipment were involved to eliminate the consequences. As a result, five people were rescued.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia recommends not to leave food on the stove without supervision and disconnect electrical appliances from the network. It is also important to check the condition of car tires before each trip.
