In the Leningrad region, 90 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations extinguished eight fires and rescued two from an accident

Over the past day, units of the territorial fire and rescue garrison of the Leningrad region participated in 14 operational events. This was reported in the press service of the EMERCOM of the Leningrad region.

Firefighters put out eight fires in a day. 69 firefighters and 17 units of special equipment participated in the fight against the fire. As a result of the incident, one person was injured.

The consequences of five accidents were eliminated. The liquidation involved 21 employees and five pieces of equipment. Five people were injured. Two were saved.

There was an incident at the water bodies. 5 employees and 1 technician participated in the liquidation. Unfortunately, one person died.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia advises: observe precautions on water bodies. Do not visit untested and unequipped swimming areas. Before traveling, always check the condition of car tires. It is also important to regularly monitor the fire detectors in your home.
