In Lipetsk, the couple stole goods from the store for 6.2 thousand rubles and were punished

In Lipetsk, a couple was convicted of stealing goods from a chain store. The 35-year-old man was assigned 320 hours of mandatory work, and his 41-year-old wife must pay a fine of 20 thousand rubles.

According to the joint press service of the judicial system of the Lipetsk region, the theft occurred in April 2026. The couple agreed in advance on the theft, hid goods under the outer clothes and pockets, and then together came out of the trading room, bypassing the cash register. The damage to the company amounted to 6.2 thousand rubles.

During the trial, it turned out that the man had already been prosecuted for a similar crime. In imposing the sentence, the court took into account mitigating circumstances, including full admission of guilt and voluntary compensation for damages.

The man was assigned 320 hours of compulsory work, taking into account the partial addition of the unserved part of the sentence under the previous sentence. His wife was fined 20 thousand rubles.
