As established by the investigation, a previously convicted resident of the Gornomariisky district last year deceived six women in her district and in Yoshkar-Ola. She said that they were damaged, and offered to conduct a rite of purification.

In court, the defendant admitted his guilt partially, returned part of the abducted two victims.
The court found the woman guilty of fraud and sent to a general regime colony for five years. Civil claims of victims in the amount of more than 530 thousand rubles were also satisfied, the joint press service of the Mari El courts reported.
