In Melitopol revealed the theft of 6.5 million rubles from the budget

In Melitopol completed the investigation of a criminal case of major fraud.

The defendants were the heads of a commercial firm and an expert institution: according to the investigation, from November to December 2024, they stole 6.5 million rubles allocated under the state contract for the examination of apartment buildings.

At the same time, the work itself was not carried out - in order to create the appearance of fulfilling obligations, the defendants handed over more than 200 false expert opinions to the relevant ministry.

Now the defendants are in custody, and their property was seized in the amount of 3.8 million rubles. The case goes to court.
