In Mordovia, a fire engulfed the attic of a residential building

Residents of the village of Tarkhanskaya Potma noticed a fire in one of the residential buildings and called emergency services. The fire occurred on October 20, the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

When firefighters arrived, the fire had already covered a significant area. The source of the fire was the attic room. Rescuers managed to stop the spread of flames and completely eliminate the fire. The total area of the fire was 128 square meters.

According to the agency, no one was injured as a result of the incident. Experts are now investigating the cause of the fire. It is necessary to find out why the attic caught fire and what circumstances led to the spread of the fire.
