In Murino, the father of four children was accused of years of torture of the family

In Murino, a 38-year-old man will appear in court on charges of systematic torture of his wife and four young children. According to investigators, he beat family members for almost three years and kept them in constant fear. This was reported in the SU IC of Russia in the Leningrad region.

Investigators found that from August 2023 to March 2026, the accused repeatedly used physical and psychological violence against his wife and children. The man, according to the investigation, regularly beat them, causing physical and mental suffering. In addition, he exerted psychological pressure on the children and improperly performed parental duties.

During the investigation, specialists questioned victims and witnesses, conducted forensic examinations and collected the necessary evidence. The man was charged under articles on torture and improper performance of duties for the upbringing of minors. The criminal case was sent to the Vsevolozhsky City Court for consideration on the merits.

Earlier, “MK in St. Petersburg” reported about a 17-year-old teenager who was hospitalized after years of domestic violence. The man told doctors that his mother had beaten him for 11 years. Doctors assessed his condition as moderate.
