In Novomoskovsk caught a 19-year-old thief who removed the battery from the “penny”

In Novomoskovsk, police officers quickly uncovered the theft of a battery from a VAZ-2101 car. The suspect was established during operational-search activities, and the stolen property was returned to the owner.

As reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Tula region, on October 11, a local resident of 2005 born in Novomoskovsk turned to the duty part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The young man said that his car was parked near the house on Lenin Street in the Sokolniki microdistrict. A battery was stolen from the car through free access. The damage amounted to about 4.5 thousand rubles.

An investigative team arrived at the scene. The police conducted the necessary measures and quickly established the identity and location of the alleged attacker.

He was an unemployed resident of Savino village born in 2007. According to police, the young man confessed. The battery was seized and transferred to the rightful owner.

On the fact of the incident, the investigator of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Novomoskovsk opened a criminal case under part 1 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”.

In relation to the defendant, a preventive measure was chosen in the form of a subscription not to leave and proper behavior.
