In Novosibirsk, at the 63rd year of life, the director of school No. 112 Vadim Platonov died. The teacher died on October 13 after a long illness.
adim Platonov devoted more than 35 years to work in the field of education. He was born in Novosibirsk, graduated from NETI and worked as a system programmer for several years. In 1989 he began teaching mathematics, and in November 1993 he headed school No. 112.
During the years of his leadership, the school became one of the centers of engineering education. A children's technopark and a center for the formation of engineering competencies for high school students appeared here. The institution has repeatedly won all-Russian competitions, and its students achieved success at the international level.
Vadim Platonov had the title of Honorary Worker of General Education of Russia. Colleagues and relatives remember him as a talented teacher, a wise leader and a sympathetic person who was always ready to help.
Farewell to Vadim Platonov will be held on October 16 from 11:30 to 12:30 in the farewell hall on Arbuzov Street, 2g. At 14:30 in the dining room of school No. 112 will be a memorial dinner.
