In the Novosibirsk region from the farmer recovered more than 617 million rubles for damage to the soil

As reported in the courts of general jurisdiction of the Novosibirsk region, the Novosibirsk district court considered the claim of the environmental prosecutor to the head of the peasant farm Svetlana Khrzhanovskaya.

The prosecutor’s office defended the interests of the administration of the Kochenevsky district and the regional Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology. The supervisory authority demanded to compensate for environmental damage and carry out restoration work on the damaged territory.

The court satisfied the claims and decided to recover from the entrepreneur 617 367 897 rubles 60 kopecks in favor of the district administration.

In addition to paying a large sum, the head of the farm was obliged to develop and agree on a land reclamation project within six months. After that, it will have to restore the damaged site and the adjacent territory within the timeframe provided for by the project.

Also from the woman collected a state fee in the amount of 900 thousand rubles.
