In Orsha district prevented the export of 17 tons of metal from the country

The operatives of the Mogilev department detained a Mercedes truck in the Orsha district under the control of a 45-year-old resident of the Brest region. This was reported in the interior Ministry, writes sb.by.

- During the inspection of the trailer found more than 17 tons of scrap of non-ferrous metals totaling more than 45 thousand rubles, which he carefully disguised plastic containers. There were no accompanying cargo documents for the driver. It was previously established that he illegally bought raw materials on the territory of Belarus for subsequent delivery to the reception point in a neighboring state, Vyacheslav Shabusov, deputy head of the Mogilev Department of Internal Affairs, said.

An administrative protocol has been drawn up for illegal business activities against a man. He faces a fine of up to 100 basic values (а 4,500) with the confiscation of the offence.
