In the Penza region motorcycle sued 230 thousand rubles from the culprit of the accident

In the Penza region, the court ordered the motorist to pay 230 thousand rubles to a motorcyclist injured in a road accident.

According to the press service of the Bessonovsky District Court, the accident occurred in July 2025 on the Penza-Lunino highway. As a result of the illegal actions of the driver of the Lada Granta car, the driver of the Yamaha motorcycle received injuries that caused harm to his health of moderate severity.

The victim appealed to the court with the requirement to recover from the perpetrator of the accident compensation for moral damage.

In considering the civil case, the court took into account the nature of the physical and moral suffering of the plaintiff. After the incident, the man experienced stress, severe pain and faced the consequences of his injuries, which required long-term rehabilitation.

Also taken into account the degree of guilt of the defendant, who did not compensate for the material damage and moral damage. At the same time, the court did not establish guilt or gross negligence in the actions of the injured motorcyclist.

As a result, the Bessonovsky district court satisfied the claim and decided to recover 230,000 rubles from the driver of Lada Granta as compensation for moral damage.
