In Pereslavl, the driver will answer for insulting and hitting the district commissioner

The Pereslavl Interdistrict Prosecutor’s Office sent a criminal case to the court on charges of insulting a police officer and using violence against her. A resident of Pereslavl, aged 46, will appear in court.

According to the press service of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Yaroslavl region, the man quarreled with a police officer in June 2026. The local commissioner arrived at the call made by residents of the MCD. Residents reported that a citizen put his car under the windows of the house. And turned on the sound of the music system in the car to the fullest.

The police officer made a remark and heard selective abuse in her address. Then the car music lover tried to snatch the door. And hit the car door of the district commissioner.

A criminal case was opened against the ham under Art. 319 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (insulting a representative of the authorities), part 1 of Art. 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (use of violence against a representative of the authorities in connection with the performance of his official duties).

The criminal case was investigated by the investigative bodies of the regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia and sent for consideration to the Pereslavl District Court.
