In Pskov resumed the trial of ex-rector of Pskov State University Natalia Ilyina

The Pskov City Court held a regular hearing on the criminal case against the former head of the Pskov State University Natalia Ilyina.

According to the correspondent of Pskov News Tape, at today’s meeting the parties will have to complete the stage of the judicial investigation and proceed to the debate of the parties.

Natalia Ilyina is accused of committing fraud on an especially large scale (Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), as well as in 16 episodes of exceeding official powers out of selfish or other personal interest (Part 3 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

Recall that since April 2025, the ex-rector was in jail, but in December of the same year, the measure of restraint was changed to house arrest.
