Users of the Chinese neural network DeepSeek on the morning of October 15 could not use the chatbot. The service stopped processing requests, and a notification of the temporary unavailability of the server appeared on the site and in the mobile application. This was reported by Yicai.

The failure began after 08:00 Beijing time (03:00 MSK). He touched not only the usual dialogues with artificial intelligence, but also the operation of the API software interface through which third-party applications are connected to the system.

The problem was protracted: by 06:40 MSK, access to the service was never restored. Thus, it was not possible to work with the neural network normally for more than three hours.

The company acknowledged technical problems. First, specialists were engaged in finding out the causes of the failure, and then reported that the source of the malfunction was determined and its elimination began.

Earlier, the failure occurred in the operation of the largest supermarket chain in the Netherlands Albert Heijn. As a result, the supply of food was threatened.
