The terrible accident occurred on the night of October 17 on Portova Street in Rostov-on-Don. The driver and passenger of the motorcycle died at the scene in a collision with the curb.
As reported in the traffic police of the Rostov region, the incident occurred near the house No. 346. According to preliminary data, the 22-year-old driver of a motorcycle brand “Kawasaki Ninja”, moving along Portovaya Street, attempted to overtake the car “Kia Rio”.
During the maneuver, the motorcycle driver failed to control and hit the curb.
The driver and his 22-year-old passenger suffered life-threatening injuries and died before emergency services arrived.
An investigative team is currently working at the scene.
The State Traffic Inspectorate urges motor vehicle drivers to strictly observe traffic rules, avoid dangerous maneuvers and choose speed taking into account the traffic situation.
