In the Ryazan region, 13 people died in fires due to electrical wiring

Since the beginning of the year, 245 fires have occurred in the Ryazan region, the cause of which was a malfunction of electrical wiring and electrical equipment. Statistics were presented by the press service of the regional GU EMERCOM.

As a result of the fires, 13 people died, as many more were injured. The fire completely destroyed 104 buildings and damaged 202 objects.

The total material damage exceeded 300 million rubles.

Employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Ryazan region urge residents to comply with safety rules when using household appliances and if there is a burning smell or signs of fire, call the numbers 101 or 112.
