In Serov, a man attacked a cafe worker with a hammer and acid

In Serov, police detained a suspect in an attack on a cafe worker with a hammer and acid, the press service of the GU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Sverdlovsk region reported.

On October 16, at about 21:40, Serov police received a report that on Lenin Street an unknown person caused injuries to a man born in 1998.

At the scene, police detained a man in an aggressive state. According to the victim, an unknown visitor to the cafe where he works, inflicted several blows on the head with a hammer, and also poured acetic acid. The ambulance crew took the victim to a medical facility, where he was diagnosed with bruised head wounds, hematomas, bruises and chemical burns of the face and eye.

Initial checks revealed that the detainee had quarreled with cafe workers. In the presence of other guests of the institution, including children, he threatened one of the employees, swung a bunch of keys at him, cursed obscenely. Debashir was escorted out of the room. After that, he knocked on the windows, scaring visitors. The café employee reacted aggressively. Then he ran into the entrance of the nearest house and returned from there with a hammer and a bottle of vinegar. Having attacked the employee of the cafe on the street, he caused him the listed injuries.

In relation to the 39-year-old detained SO MO MIA of Russia “Serovsky” opened a case under article 213 of the criminal code (“Hooliganism”). A measure of restraint is chosen - a ban on certain actions. An investigation is under way.

The defendant is not employed, since 2014 he has been repeatedly brought to criminal responsibility, including for crimes against life and health (beatings, intentional infliction of mild and moderate harm to health, threats of murder). In most cases, these crimes were committed using a hammer, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Serovsky.
