In Shchekino arrested a man who beat a friend to death

In Shchekino, a 36-year-old man was detained, accused under Part 4 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - causing serious harm to his health, resulting in the death of the victim by negligence.

As reported in the SU IC of Russia in the Tula region, at the request of the investigator, the court chose him a measure of restraint in the form of arrest.

According to the investigation, on October 13, in an apartment on Sovetskaya Street in Ogarevka, a man in a state of intoxication beat a friend. The victim was hospitalized but died two days later in hospital despite being treated.

The suspect was detained as soon as possible - during interrogation he admitted guilt and confirmed the testimony at the scene. Investigators continue to gather evidence.

Earlier, MK in Tula reported on the detention of a 45-year-old local resident accused of fatally beating a friend - a case was opened against him under Part 4 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. According to the investigation, on September 27, on the street Oktyabrskaya between the drunken accused and a 35-year-old man broke out a conflict, during which a tulyak repeatedly struck the victim in the face and head, from which he died on the spot.
