In a deadly accident near Tobolsk killed seven people

The tragedy occurred on the night of October 21 at the 276th kilometer of the federal highway "Tyumen - Khanty-Mansiysk" near Tobolsk.

Around midnight, the Volkswagen Caravel minivan, which was traveling to Surgut, crashed into a truck - it began moving in a convoy of transport, previously standing at a reverse traffic light. There was a traffic warning in the area.

From the impact of the minivan caught fire and completely burned. There were 8 passengers and the driver in the car. 7 people died - four men and three women. The age of the victims is from about 35 to 65 years, their identities are now being established.

Two of the victims, a 33-year-old driver and a 57-year-old passenger, were injured and taken to hospital.

It is known that the minivan left the city of Sibai (Republic of Bashkortostan) with three passengers, and then picked up people in the Chelyabinsk and Tyumen regions. The car had changes in design: in the summer it was installed gas cylinder equipment - conversion was officially legalized in the traffic police.

The driver had 15 years of experience, but this year he was brought to administrative responsibility for traffic violations 7 times. Now the traffic police find out all the circumstances of the accident and will assess the organization of passenger transportation.
