In Sochi, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate conducted a large-scale inspection of motorists, as a result of which 74 administrative offenses were recorded. The preventive raid took place on Friday, October 16.
One of the most serious violations was driving without a driver's license. The inspectors identified six such cases. Another motorist gave control of the car to a person who did not have the right to drive.
Special attention was paid to compliance with security requirements. Two drivers refused to undergo a medical examination for intoxication.
In addition, nine road users did not pay the previously imposed administrative fines. Another seven motorists were prosecuted for violating the requirements for glass tinting, and two for making changes to the design of vehicles.
Such checks are aimed at identifying potentially dangerous traffic participants and preventing accidents.
